After the Infographic with Statistics about VR Porn for 2020, there was some interesting conversations on reddit about the collected data. One of the interesting topic was more of a curiosity: how many owners of interactive sex toys, also known as ‘Teledildonics’, (like fleshlights or kiiroo) use them in conjunction with VR porn? And the next question that came to mind was: how many vr headset owners use it with VR porn?
Naturally I turned to reddit to do the research. I opened 2 Polls for each question to gather the data and set the expiration time at 7 days for each post. I wanted to make sure I gather enough data to be worthed from the point of view of a serious statistics.
Let see what I found.
VR Headset Owners That Watch VR Porn
First and foremost, for the first question about ‘how many vr headset owners use it for vr porn’ there are 233 people that responded. 112 of them watch vr porn on their headset, while 121 don’t. So that is about 48% that watch VS 52% that don’t.
Now, if you look at the statistics that show about 52 million users in USA you can make an idea of the vr porn market.
Also, the data collected here seems to be inline with the statistics from Statista where they show that 44.5% of vr headset owners watch ‘entertainment videos’. But I guess they are timid to say ‘vr porn videos’.
Interactive Sex Toy (Fleshlight) Owners That Use It With VR Porn
Here 166 people voted. 59 say they sync the 2 ‘gadgets’ for an intense immersive experience. 62 said they use it either alone or with other type of content (regular 2D porn). And finally 45 said they never knew that it is possible to sync interactive sex toys with vr porn.
So we have the following percentages: 35.6% sync the sex toys with vr porn. 37.3% don’t use the sex toys with vr porn. And 27.1% didn’t knew they can use them together.
The biggest surprise here is that almost a third of teledildonics owners didn’t knew that they can sync it with vr porn. Now I am curios about how many of these, that found about the possibility, have now tried it with vr porn?
